After an unexpected illness after Christmas, Jon’s father passed away this weekend. We grieve his loss, but celebrate his life and legacy with joy!
For those who may want to come to a celebration of his life in Evanston, Illinois, here are the details:

Join us for an open house to remember Bill Boyd with joy and gratitude. We invite you to celebrate his adventurous spirit and lively personality in these ways:
- Bring a short memory of Bill in writing, a story of the way he has affected your life. We will collect these as a book of memories for Betty and the family. Photos, too!
- We’ll open the mic at 2:30 pm for a time of sharing memories of Bill. Although we won’t have time for every person to share, we’d like to invite you to consider reading your brief remembrance of Bill for others to enjoy.
- Wear something colorful. We are remembering Bill’s adventurous spirit with joy!
