The factual version
This year, Lucy (13) and Rosie (11) appeared in the musical Once Upon a Mattress. Rosie and Ann each drafted their first novel while Lucy participated in Inktober. Rosie learned all about the Revolutionary War via the lyrics to Hamilton. Jon’s band, in which he plays sax, played several gigs including twice at the Hideout. Our epic train trip to Montana in May included zip-lining but ended with two horrible cases of pneumonia. (Don’t worry: we’re all better now!)
We [honestly do] wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
