Three minutes in the life of Lucy

Ann went nuts with the camera yesterday and shot a string of 20 photos of Lucy in her arms over the course of three minutes. Most of them are a bit out of focus, but at a small scale you can’t really notice — and the whole series captures a feel for what it’s like to hold and look into the face of this very active little baby. So I put them together into a “filmstrip.”

She was always a wiggler in utero, and she certainly hasn’t stopped since emerging. It seems like every time I pick her up, she feels stronger, more muscular, and heavier. Go, Lucy!

  1. Just wait until she weighs 20 pounds and wants to be held, but facing out to see the world and not you. And when she starts to experiment with her voice range. It is such a joy to watch your child develop so rapidly.
Thank you Jesus for these blessings!

  2. Beautiful! That will be a wonderful treasure in a year or two when you can’t remember her being so small. I marvel at those times when Mo is in my arms, and I watch his ever changing face.
