Hooray! Lucy has arrived at her home here on Saint Louis Avenue, and so far she seems to like it. At least, she seems to like it if we can judge from the fact that she has [1] slept and [2] nursed the whole two hours she’s been here.
It’s been an emotional experience bringing this little girl back to a house she’s actually spent months and months in already — but to see it with her own eyes for the first time. As soon as her eyes are open and not staring at Ann’s bosom, we’ll give her the tour.
About those eyes – what color are they? All the pictures so far have them shut tight!

oh.my.gosh. THAT is the cutest baby! I needed a moment to regain my composure after seeing that picture! And she DOES look very much like her Ma! (swoon)
Her eyes are really dark blue right now — so it’s that kind of baby eye-color that could turn into anything. Personally, I’m rooting for chocolate brown like her Mama’s. (Plus brown eyes are the dominant gene, so it’s a safer bet.) :) But who knows?
