“Those who have young”
This passage of Scripture is freshly relevant to us, and we thank our friend and colleague Ann Beyerlein for including it in a baby card we received today. It’s from Isaiah 40:
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young (v. 11, TNIV).
We’re so glad this is the good shepherd who has taken us into his flock.

yup, the “gently leads those that are with young” is a promise that I cling to with regularity even after 7-1/2 years. :o) though, because of Handel, it must be in the King James for me.
