Early labor?
Ann and I are super excited, though we’re trying to remain calm: All evening she’s been having pretty regular (though brief) contractions — but now they’ve been getting stronger and longer for some time.
We went for a long walk around 6:PM, and they were 30 seconds long every two minutes like clockwork. Ann spoke with Jenny the Midwife, and she encouraged us to take it easy, get some sleep, and call her again if the contractions get to lasting a whole minute each.
Now they’re lasting up to 45 seconds, so something is definitely happening! We’re going to try to get some rest now. If it’s really labor, it’ll keep up; if it’s not, staying up won’t help any anyway.
Your prayers for this to develop into a quick, easy, and healthy delivery would be much appreciated! I’ll post more news here as soon as I can.

I have been praying and sending out really strong birth vibes since I posted earlier today… best wishes with the wily birth fairy – you ARE doing it!

Hola friends — all THREE of you! I have had you on my heart for weeks now, but I see that this is not the time to call. :) We will hold you in prayer for a blessed delivery & welcome of Little One.
