My dear Ann,
I really wanted to be the first to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY but I guess I’ll have to get up earlier to get ahead of some of your friends. Maybe next year??? No matter what, Betty and I love you and we wish you all the best for now and the years ahead. We look forward to our opportunity to celebrate with you in person. Oh yes, who’s the kid? Love to you all…
Happy Birthday Ann! In my house you would get two Birthdays. One your own and then you get gifts on Lucy’s Birthday as you are the one who did all of the work!! tee hee.
Hey how do your Baby Legs wash up? Maddy has 6 pairs (It is really cold here and she wears them under pants every day) but they aren’t washing up very well. I wash them in the mach. on cold/gent. cycle. I am a bit sad as they are very $$$.
Thanks, everyone, for all the nice birthday wishes! Lucy gave me a special birthday present — she slept through her usual 5 am feeding! I got eight hours of sleep in a row for the first time since she was born, and boy did it feel good. :)
Happy Birthday to Andy, too! The big 4-0! And happy belated birthday to Miriam, who turned one yesterday. :)
Katrina, our babylegs wash pretty well. I’ve heard that for patterned knit garments (socks, tights, babylegs) it helps to wash them inside out, then the pattern doesn’t fray. I think that has helped a bit. Sorry yours aren’t holding up well — you could always complain to the company you bought them from and see if they can give you any tips or coupons or something.
I agree, Lucy! We hope Mama has a great birthday! We’ll have to take extra good care of her today.
Happy Birthday, Ann! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Happy Birthday Ann! You and Andy share a birthday….although I am sure you are not hitting the big 40 today! We hope that you have a great day.
Yay! Happy Birthday!

Turned two, actually. But thanks for the thought and happy birthday Ann! I never know these things…
