First date

Scrying
One of my dearest hopes as a mother is that I would be a good listener. The best way is to start now by “reading” Lucy’s cries and expressions in order to be able to meet her needs well. However, this is easier said than done. more »

Look-alike?
So many people (including many of you) have pointed out a family resemblance in Lucy. That is quite a compliment, since we think she is quite a beauty. But frankly, I often have a hard time seeing the resemblance, especially to either Jon or myself. more »
You’d be cranky, too
Yesterday was one of those setbacks in our gradually smoother string of days with Lucy. She woke up demanding her first feeding at 3:10 AM (several hours earlier than usual), and then didn’t want to go back to sleep as she usually does. And it was more of the same all day long.
