Our 2023 Mad Lib<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Score! It’s a 2023 Boyd Family Mad Lib!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started 2023 while on a _____ (adj.) trip to _____ (place). Soon after, we flew to _____ (place) where Ann was honored for her 25 _____s (unit of time) with _____ (organization). Rosie and Lucy turned _____ (number) and _____ (number) in the spring while they rehearsed and performed in the school musical, _____ (old TV show). Jon’s love of _____ (hobby) only increases; he and Lucy even attended a _____ (number)-day _____ (same hobby) festival in Milwaukee. He also earned his “Advanced Swiftie Dad” merit badge by _____ (gerund) with Rosie outside _____ (number) Taylor Swift shows at Chicago\u2019s _____ (job) Field. We visited several schools Lucy has been admitted to, notably _____ (town) and _____ (abstract noun) Colleges. Soon after, we flew to San Francisco<\/strong> where Ann was honored for her 25 years<\/strong> with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship<\/strong>. Rosie and Lucy turned 15<\/strong> and 17<\/strong> in the spring while they rehearsed and performed in the school musical, The Addams Family<\/strong>. Jon’s love of typewriting<\/strong> only increases; he and Lucy even attended a three<\/strong>-day typewriter<\/strong> festival in Milwaukee. He also earned his “Advanced Swiftie Dad” merit badge by tailgating<\/strong> with Rosie outside two (and was willing to do three\u2026)<\/strong> Taylor Swift shows at Chicago\u2019s Soldier<\/strong> Field. We visited several schools Lucy has been admitted to, notably Kalamazoo<\/strong> and Hope<\/strong> Colleges. In the fall, Jon and the girls camped in the Porcupine Mountains<\/strong>  while Ann stayed back with the cats<\/strong>, home alone overnight for the first time in seventeen<\/strong> years. We acquired a third feline when Bingley a.k.a. Kirk<\/strong> followed Rosie home one day and stole all our hearts<\/strong>. Ann joined the choir<\/strong> at our church and then Jon joined, too\u2014singing<\/strong> together is so much fun!
