Oh please: not a 2022 Boyd Family Mad Lib.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, we made it to 2022 free of _____ (disease)<\/em>\u2014the girls even stayed home from school for a _____ (unit of time)<\/em> to avoid the new variants\u2014but it finally caught us in April. Lucy, age _____ (number)<\/em>, wrote a letter that appeared in _____ (periodical)<\/em>, mastered her _____ (sports equipment)<\/em>, and began _____ (gerund)<\/em> lessons. Rosie, age _____ (number)<\/em>, achieved superfan status by attending a _____ (celebrity)<\/em> concert; meeting her favorite author, _____ (celebrity)<\/em>, for a second time; and becoming known as a passionate _____-ie (last name of celebrity)<\/em>. The girls both now attend the same school, _____ (famous person)<\/em> Magnet High. After careful consideration, our long-time _____ (type of institution)<\/em> closed up this summer, so we\u2019re visiting new ones. Ann loves exercising her _____ (gerund)<\/em> skills for InterVarsity; continues her _____ (adj.)<\/em>, daily _____ (number)<\/em>-mile walks; and _____ (verb)<\/em> every night. Lucy, age 16<\/strong>, wrote a letter that appeared in The New York Times<\/em><\/strong>, mastered her roller skates<\/strong>, and began driving<\/strong> lessons. Rosie, age 14<\/strong>, achieved superfan status by attending a Miranda Sings \/ Colleen Ballinger<\/strong> concert; meeting her favorite author, Sarah Mlynowski<\/strong>, for a second time; and becoming known as a passionate Swift<\/strong>ie. The girls both now attend the same school, Disney<\/strong> Magnet High. After careful consideration, our long-time church<\/strong> (Grace Covenant) closed up this summer, so we\u2019re visiting new ones. Ann loves exercising her podcasting<\/strong> skills for InterVarsity; continues her brisk<\/strong>, daily three<\/strong>-mile walks; and journals<\/strong> every night. Jon\u2019s fondness for vintage typewriters<\/strong> remains strong; he regularly uses eleven<\/strong>, with the oldest from 1934<\/strong>. And yes, as you can see in the photo, he finally cut off his pony<\/strong>tail.
