It\u2019s a 2021 Boyd Family Mad Lib<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year held many milestones on the home front as on the national stage. We kept quarantine until, after _____&nbsp;<em>(number)<\/em> days, all four of us were fully vaccinated against _____&nbsp;<em>(disease)<\/em>. Lucy (age 15) and Rosie (age 13) attended in-person _____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em> school for the first time. They also enjoyed an intensive course in _____&nbsp;<em>(noun)<\/em>-defense. Lucy cut her _____&nbsp;<em>(body part)<\/em> short, and Rosie _____&nbsp;<em>(animal)<\/em>-sat for some neighbors for a whole month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last Thanksgiving Ann started logging how many _____&nbsp;<em>(unit of weight)<\/em>s of _____&nbsp;<em>(ingredient)<\/em> she uses when baking. The annual total? _____&nbsp;<em>(number)<\/em>! In July Jon built a Lego model of a _____&nbsp;<em>(machine)<\/em>, then fell in love with the real thing; he has acquired _____&nbsp;<em>(number)<\/em> of them, which he regularly uses. At work, Ann got a great start on _____&nbsp;<em>(gerund)<\/em>, and Jon was named _____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em> publisher for IVP Academic. Finally, we got a new license plate that reads \u201c_____\u201d <em>(any word you like!)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope you have a merry _____&nbsp;<em>(holiday)<\/em>.
