It\u2019s a 2020 Boyd Holiday Mad Lib<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s no secret that 2020 has been a pretty&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em>&nbsp;year. But thanks to&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(gerund)<\/em>&nbsp;and _____&nbsp;<em>(body part)<\/em>-washing,&nbsp;so far we remain in _____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em>&nbsp;health. We\u2019re thankful to be busy with _____&nbsp;<em>(activity)<\/em>&nbsp;and _____&nbsp;<em>(n.)<\/em>&nbsp;as we try to make the best of&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em> times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last social event we had in&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(month)<\/em>&nbsp;was Rosie\u2019s _____&nbsp;<em>(ordinal #)<\/em>&nbsp;birthday party, and in lockdown we celebrated Lucy turning&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(#)<\/em>. This fall, both girls made the _____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em>&nbsp;transition from homeschool to public school (_____&nbsp;<em>(#)<\/em>% online). It\u2019s gone _____&nbsp;<em>(adv.)<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pandemic dashed plans for a trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(country)<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;a concert by _____&nbsp;<em>(person)<\/em>, but we managed a \u201cbubble\u201d vacation with&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em>&nbsp;friends to _____&nbsp;<em>(place)<\/em>. Rosie learned how to ride a _____&nbsp;<em>(vehicle)<\/em>, and Lucy can now do&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(#)<\/em>&nbsp;pushups. Our most cherished pandemic practice is that every&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(unit of time)<\/em>&nbsp;we go on a&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(#)<\/em>-mile family walk<a>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wish you a&nbsp;_____&nbsp;<em>(adj.)<\/em>&nbsp;Christmas and a happy _____&nbsp;<em>(n.)<\/em>! But thanks to&nbsp;<strong>distancing<\/strong>&nbsp;and <strong>hand<\/strong>-washing,&nbsp;so far we remain in <strong>good<\/strong>&nbsp;health. Rosie learned how to ride a <strong>unicycle<\/strong>, and Lucy can now do&nbsp;<strong>21<\/strong>&nbsp;pushups. Our most cherished pandemic practice is that every&nbsp;<strong>day<\/strong>&nbsp;we go on a&nbsp;<strong>one<\/strong>-mile family walk<a>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We [sincerely do] wish you a&nbsp;<strong>merry<\/strong>&nbsp;Christmas and a happy <strong>New Year<\/strong>!
