Yet again<\/a> this year, we are sending out a now-traditional blank Mad Lib for the fun-loving among you to create your very own version of a Boyd holiday letter. Our 2012 Mad Lib<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We Boyds took our longest-ever roadtrip:       <\/u> (number) miles to       <\/u> (place). We stopped at Ann’s favorite       <\/u> (food) store, where she tasted       <\/u> (number) flavors. Jon fills the commute to his new       <\/u> (company) job with audiobooks. Lucy, age       <\/u> (number), lost two       <\/u> (body parts) but refuses to give them to the       <\/u> (same body part) Fairy. Rosie, age       <\/u> (number), loves to       <\/u> (verb),       <\/u> (verb), and write words all by herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wish you a       <\/u> (adjective) Christmas and a happy       <\/u> (noun)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The factual version<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We Boyds took our longest-ever roadtrip: 1,300 miles to Washington, DC. We stopped at Ann’s favorite ice-cream store [“Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams”:http:\/\/jenis.com\/, in both Columbus and Chagrin Falls, Ohio], where she tasted fourteen flavors. Jon fills the commute to his new “InterVarsity Press”:http:\/\/www.ivpress.com\/ job with audiobooks. Lucy, age 6, lost two teeth but refuses to give them to the Tooth Fairy. Rosie, age 4, loves to sing, dance, and write words all by herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
