Here are the ones we know about already: <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>* *Lucy* Pevensie, the youngest of the children in C. S. Lewis&#8217;s _Chronicles of Narnia_<br \/>\n* *Lucy* Van Pelt of Charles Schulz&#8217;s _Peanuts_<br \/>\n* Lucille Ball&#8217;s &#8220;I Love *Lucy*&#8221; (a declaration that certainly applies around here!)<br \/>\n* *Lucy* the younger sister in Lynda Barry&#8217;s &#8220;_The Good Times Are Killing Me_&#8221;:http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/157061105X\/octothorppres-20 (a book we read the day after we first thought of calling our baby this, in November 2005)<br \/>\n* &#8220;*Lucy* Liu&#8221;:http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0005154\/, an actress known for her role as Alex in &#8220;_Charlie&#8217;s Angels_&#8221;:http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0160127\/<br \/>\n* &#8220;Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes&#8221;  &#8212;  from the Beatles&#8217; &#8220;*Lucy* in the Sky with Diamonds&#8221; (thanks, Uncle Jim!)<br \/>\n* *Lucy* the 3.18-million-year-old Hominid fossil (herself &#8220;named after the Beatles&#8217; Lucy&#8221;:http:\/\/www.asu.edu\/clas\/iho\/lucy.html#name), once the oldest known<br \/>\n* even &#8220;Loose *Lucy*&#8221; by the Grateful Dead (though we hope our Lucy won&#8217;t treat her man so bad)<\/p>\n<p>But we&#8217;re sure there are many others. What other uses of the name _Lucy_ or _Lucia_ in literature, film, song, or story have we missed?
