She is very proud of him. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/boydsnest.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMG_5250-acc.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"IMG_5250-acc\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5953\" srcset=\"https:\/\/boydsnest.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMG_5250-acc.jpg 480w, https:\/\/boydsnest.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/IMG_5250-acc-128x85.jpg 128w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Grammie brought &#8220;this friend&#8221;:http:\/\/www.containerstore.com\/shop?productId=10028934&#038;N=&#038;Ntt=eyeglasses over for Lucy on Thanksgiving, and what a treasure he has been for her. Lucy has named him &#8212; and no, I&#8217;m not making this up: &#8220;Glasses Man Hold My Glasses Overnight Man.&#8221; But since that is a bit cumbersome for everyday use, he goes by &#8220;Glassie&#8221; in our house.<\/p>\n<p>He sits on Mama&#8217;s nightstand (where Lucy takes off her spectacles at bedtime) and waits patiently for his precious nighttime cargo. A few days ago, when Lucy was sick, he stayed in her bedroom with her, but now he is back in his usual spot. We&#8217;re all glad to be getting to know him. Lucy even let Rosie hold him the other day, for a special treat.
