Lucy at her 3-year appointment (May 19)<\/p>\n<p>_Height_ 38 1\/8&#8243; (67%)<br \/>\n_Weight_ 30 lbs 6 oz (48%)<br \/>\n_Blood Pressure_ 88\/50<\/p>\n<p>Lucy has gained about five pounds this year, rising from 33th to 48th percentile in weight. She grew about 3&frac12; inches, dropping from 73th to 67th percentile. Her blood pressure looked alarmingly low to me, but the nurse assured me that this is normal for healthy preschoolers. And Lucy is pretty awesome at attempting to say &#8220;sphygmomanometer&#8221;:http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sphygmomanometer. She is doing great!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/boydsnest.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/IMG_2323.JPG\" alt=\"IMG_2323\" title=\"IMG_2323\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4568\" srcset=\"https:\/\/boydsnest.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/IMG_2323.JPG 300w, https:\/\/boydsnest.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/IMG_2323-128x96.jpg 128w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>h3. Rosie at her 15-month appointment (June 23)<\/p>\n<p>_Weight:_ 27 lbs 4 oz (94%)<br \/>\n_Height:_ 33.5&#8243; (99%)<br \/>\n_Head Circumference:_ 47.8 cm (92%)<\/p>\n<p>Rosie is slowing her weight gain slightly, adding just a half-pound since her 12-month appointment and dropping from 99th to 94th percentile. (My back thanks her!) She grew 1&frac12; inches in those three months (staying strong at the 99th percentile), and rounded out her head circumference with another 0.8 cm. Rosie astounded us with her patience during a long wait at the doctor&#8217;s office and devoured most of a peanut-butter-and-honey sandwich while tearing around the waiting room and climbing on chairs.
