Would the baby ever sleep? Would I get stir-crazy and lonely? Would I know how to comfort her crying? Overall, it was quite a success &#8212; although I wouldn&#8217;t want Jon to take a trip every week or anything. <!--more--> Here is what Papa missed out on in these past 36 hours:<\/p>\n<p>* 11 diaper changes, including 1.5 poops<br \/>\n* 6 naps<br \/>\n* 1 nap revolt<br \/>\n* 2 baths<br \/>\n* 1 hearing of the Saturday Night Live soundtrack (bathtime music for disco baby)<br \/>\n* 1 trip to a La Leche League meeting (although Papa wouldn&#8217;t come to that anyway)<br \/>\n* 3 loads of laundry, including 1 diaper load<br \/>\n* 1 feeding at 3:30 am<br \/>\n* 2 walks, including 1 extra-barfy walk<br \/>\n* 2 visits from friends<br \/>\n* 1 lost pound (Mama, not Lucy)<br \/>\n* 3 ounces of pumping<br \/>\n* 1 reading of the August 2006 Martha Stewart Living<br \/>\n* countless smiles, and possibly a few giggles<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t the same without Papa, but Lucy and I braved these past couple of days together.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was somewhat nervous about Jon&#8217;s trip to St. Louis.
