Dateline: St Louis. (And I don’t mean our street.) <\/p>\n

I’m away for two days in St. Louis, Missouri, for some meetings to plan for “Open for Business”:http:\/\/urbana.org\/go\/ofb\/, an “InterVarsity”:http:\/\/www.intervarsity.org\/ conference for businesspeople about the emerging business-as-mission movement. I’m delighted to be involved, and being on site here at “the”:http:\/\/www.druryhotels.com\/properties\/druryplazahotel.cfm “hotels”:http:\/\/www.adamsmark.com\/stlouis\/index.asp we’ll be using really helps me to prepare (and pray) for the conference better.<\/p>\n

But it’s the first night I’m away from Ann and Lucy in Lucy’s whole life! (She’s twelve weeks old today, by the way.) Not that I don’t plan on getting a sound night’s sleep or anything, but I do miss them. We’ve spoken several times on the phone, and I’ve never been so glad for a cell phone. So this post is just another little “message in a bottle” sent their way. I wish I had brought the computer cable for my camera, because then I’d add a picture here of me blowing them a kiss or something.<\/p>\n
