After waiting for about 25 minutes, I wondered what was taking so long &#8212; usually by this time they have at least asked me to pee into a cup.<!--more--> Then I saw my midwife, Jenny, behind the reception desk &#8212; she looked really apologetic and said, &#8220;I have to rush to labor and delivery!&#8221; While I was rescheduling my appointment, a woman came out of the exam room area, obviously the one who was headed to labor and delivery. She was breathing pretty hard and didn&#8217;t look comfortable, but I was glad to see she had lots of family around her. What had happened, I wonder? Did she have a regular appointment and suddenly learn that she was dilated 6 cm? or did her water break during the exam? I&#8217;m really curious to ask Jenny on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>When is OUR baby girl going to arrive???
