Rosie’s first social smile
Big news here: just minutes ago, Ann enjoyed a long stretch of direct eye-contact with Rosie, including her first “real” (that is, social) smile!

For several days, we’ve been watching her smile in her sleep, and just this morning we managed to catch a small one on camera. (See photo.) But this evening, it was a real “social smile,” swapped back and forth with Mama. Just one day before she turns six weeks!
It’s amazing what a treat this is! That’s definitely the highlight of the day.
