“Five Fat Peas”
We recently read this classic hand-game poem in Wondertime magazine, and everyone has been enjoying it around our house. Here’s how it goes:
Photo: “Who you callin’ fat?”
Five fat peas in a pea pod pressed.
(Make a fist.)
One grew, two grew,
(Hold up thumb and then pointer finger.)
and so did all the rest.
(Slowly open the rest of your fingers.)
They grew and grew and did not stop,
(Raise hand in the air very slowly.)
until one day the pod went pop !
(Clap hands on “pop.”)
