Hi Lucy! You look all comfy and warm – a good way to be in this cold Chicago weather. I don’t suppose you watched the game yesterday. The Bears beat the Saints in the snow at Soldier Field, so … the Chicago Bears are going to the Super Bowl! (I know your parents are baseball people, so I thought someone should let you know about the exciting football happenings). Yay! Go Bears!

Hi Aunt Deborah! thanks for keeping me in the loop with the Bears. You’re right, I don’t hear a lot about football in our house. Papa did wear an orange and blue tie this morning, though, so I think he must have known about the Bears’ win. I hope the Super Bowl starts before my bedtime next Sunday so I can see a little bit of it!

    Hi Lucy,

My folks are baseball people too…so I am surprised I knew this information….but the Super Bowl is actually Feb. 4th….I guess they changed the game to the first Sunday in Feb a few years ago…so the winning teams could practice more!! I am really glad because I was born on the last Sunday of January and my mama says I will never have to share my birthday party with the Superbowl! GO BEARS!!

Naomi, thanks for the tip! I’ll let the parents know about this. And a big Happy Birthday to you!
