Lucy has eyes like Jon’s, sort of a gray/green/blue that change depending on what she is wearing. (When I’m feeling corny, I tell Jon he has “eyes like the sea.”) Today Lucy put on a red shirt, and her eyes looked blue. Then I put a yellow bib on her for breakfast, and they looked green. I bet there is something about color theory in there, but I don’t really get it.

Just wondering – what color are Lucy’s eyes now? They look brownish in this picture, but I wasn’t sure if it was just the lighting.

How fun – I have eyes like that too and have always enjoyed being able to wear different things to change my eyes’ color.
