My dear Lucia,
Grandma and I are leaving the country this afternoon – just ahead of the sheriff. As we always wanted to ‘plant the seed’ of travel when you Daddy and Uncle Jim were growing up, we now wish those same adventures for you in your lifetime ahead. I know that your Papa and Mama wish the same for you so I think it is fairly safe to safe that this dream will come true.
We will miss you (yes, we’ll even miss your parents) and we’ll be eager to see you upon our return. Keep practicing those roll-overs and always (!) do exactly what your parents want you to do. That the way in insure extra ice cream at dinner tonight.
