My dear Lucia,
Today is a special day because it is your first heavy snowfall. Isn’t it pretty? You are going to have so much fun playing in the snow. I know your Mama and Papa will be eager to show you how to make angels and snowballs and snow caves (ohhh, those are REALLY special), but I guess we’ll have to wait awhile before you are ready for all of those special treats.

I have your (many) pictures here in the office but I always look forward to my DAILY LUCY so that I may keep up with your daily adventures and growth. I send you my love…
