My dear Lucia,
I’ll carry this image of your confidence – ‘hey, I can handle anything’ – as we walk across the land up at Jacobsville. If you can do it, then I should be able to make it through the snow just as easily.

Your many expressions as shown in these photos give me great pleasure and I know that will continue in the years ahead. Now, when you tackle solid foods, I think I’ll have to careful to protect my share! I know your Daddy always has his eye on my meal when I order hash browns so I have to watch you now to see if you are influenced by him in the same way.

See you a week from today so that we can scare the trick n’treaters. I look forward to sharing that with you. Love…
