All Boyds, all the time.
Everybody’s got to get out sometime. I’d been thinking about taking a little mommy break for several weeks now, and Jon has been encouraging me to do so. While I’ve gotten a few solo walks to the local coffee shop, I haven’t had the nerve to actually separate my breasts from this child for more than about an hour. But today was a first: I actually left the house without Lucy and Jon fed her a bottle. more »
I have a tendency to be a worrier. I worry about problems a lot of the time, and it can be hard for me to have perspective. (I think it might be hereditary.) Whatever the source, I’m interested in having a bit more hope and faith, and I think it’s quite possible for me to change. more »

It is hard to believe that I was still pregnant less than two months ago — it feels like it has been much longer! I was just thinking the other day about things that I remember from being 9+ months pregnant. more »

One of the things I periodically prayed for during my pregnancy was for a baby who — besides being healthy and possessing four limbs in the right places — wouldn’t spit up much. For the first few weeks, I thought we successed in birthing a non-barfer. But in the past couple of days, Lucy’s gastric valves seem to be going in reverse more often than is strictly necessary. more »
